Richard Castledine is responsible for the overall leadership responsibility for drug product and drug substance operations, project management, isotope labelling, quality control and bioanalysis services at our Alnwick, UK facility.

Richard has 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and contract development industries. Following the completion of his PhD, he worked briefly as a medicinal chemist before moving into process chemistry. Richard has led process development of over 25 programs at different stages of development ranging from pre-clinical and Phase I to process validation. 

He holds a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry from the University of Nottingham.
