Dr. Simon Hedley holds a PhD and MChem with First Class Honours in Chemistry from the University of Sheffield and has scientific experience spanning more than 20 years across industry and academia. 

Following 15 years in the United States, Simon relocated back to the UK and joined Arcinova in 2020. During his time in the US, he worked primarily in early-phase chemical process development at Amgen. His experience included specialisation in catalysis and contributions to the now-commercial products Sotorasib and Carfilzomib.

At Arcinova, Simon initially worked within Drug Substance, serving as Head of PR&D before transitioning to the company's new mRNA service line. Simon is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Society of Chemical Industry.
